Oatmeal Pecan Raisin Chocolate Chip Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. margarine or butter
    1 c. packed light brown sugar
    1 c. granulated sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 large eggs
    1 1/2 c. quick-cook oats
    1 c. coarsely chopped pecans
    1 c. raisins
    2 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
Preparation
    Sift
    together flour, baking powder, soda and salt; set aside. In
    large
    bowl
    using
    mixer
    at
    medium
    speed, beat margarine, brown
    sugar,
    granulated
    sugar and vanilla until light.
    Add eggs; blend well.
    Reduce speed to low.
    Add oats and dry ingredients, beat just until blended.
    Stir in pecans, raisins and
    chocolate
    pieces.
    With damp hands, shape dough into
    1 1/2-inch
    balls;
    place
    on
    wax paper covered baking sheet. Using
    back of teaspoon dipped in water, flatten balls to 3/4-inch thickness.
    Put in freezer 15 minutes or refrigerate 6
    hours
    or overnight.
    Remove from wax paper and place 3 inches apart
    on greased baking sheets.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 14 to 16 minutes.
    Remove from baking sheets and cool on racks.
    Makes about 40 cookies.
