Buttermilk Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large jello (orange, peach, apricot)
    1 large can crushed pineapple, do not drain
    1 12 oz. Cool Whip
    2 cups buttermilk
Preparation
    Heat pineapple to boiling.
    Dissolve jello in hot pineapple; stirring constantly.
    Let cool.
    Add 2 cups buttermilk.
    Beat well.
    Add Cool Whip.
    (I beat with mixer.)
    Chill.
