Crispy And Easy Cucumber Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 lb. cucumbers
    2 c. lime
    2 gal. water
    8 c. white distilled vinegar
    8 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 tsp. pickling spice
Preparation
    Wash and peel cucumbers; cut in strips.
    Soak overnight in lime water.
    Next a.m., wash good in cool water and soak in cool water 3 more hours.
    Combine and dissolve vinegar, spice, sugar and salt; soak overnight, then boil for 40 minutes.
    Put in jars and seal.
