Glazed Carrot, Vicky - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. carrots
    4 Tbsp. butter
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg (optional)
    chopped parsley
    water
Preparation
    Peel and slice carrots approximately 1/4-inch thick.
    Place carrots in saucepan or straight sided saute pan.
    Add enough water to barely cover carrots.
    Add butter, sugar, salt and nutmeg. Bring to a boil and reduce to simmer.
    Stir occasionally.
    Simmer carrots until almost all water has evaporated and carrots are tender.
    Toss carrots to coat with glaze.
    Garnish with chopped parsley, if desired.
