Chocolate Ripple Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 Tbsp. shortening
    1/2 c. plus 1 Tbsp. cocoa
    2 c. margarine, softened
    3 c. sugar
    10 eggs
    4 c. sifted cake flour
    2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation
    In small saucepan, melt shortening; add cocoa, stirring until smooth.
    Set aside.
    Cream butter and gradually add sugar; beat well.
    Add eggs, one at a time.
    Beat well after each egg.
    Add flour and vanilla, mixing well.
    Remove 2 cups of batter.
    Add chocolate mixture; stir until blended.
