Onion Rings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1 egg
    2 onions, peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick
    vegetable oil for frying
Preparation
    Sift flour and salt into a bowl.
    Add milk, oil and egg; beat until smooth.
    Separate onions into rings.
    Dip each ring into batter.
    Fry 2 to 3 minutes in 375\u00b0 heated oil.
    Turn, drain and sprinkle with salt.
