Congo Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 3/4 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 sticks margarine
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 lb. brown sugar
    3 eggs
    1 c. chopped nuts
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Melt margarine in a large saucepan.
    Cool.
    Add eggs, 1 at a time.
    Beat well by hand.
    Cream in sugar.
    Add dry ingredients, then chips and nuts.
    Add vanilla.
    Mix thoroughly.
    Bake in a greased and floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
