Apricot-Raisin Nut Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. dried apricots
    boiling water
    1 large orange
    1/2 c. raisins
    2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 egg
    1/2 c. chopped nuts
    2 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Cover apricots with boiling water and soak about 1/2 hour.
    Squeeze juice from orange and add enough boiling water to make 1 cup.
    Set aside.
    Save orange peel.
