Best Ever Lemon Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell or a graham cracker crust
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    6 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 c. water
    1/3 c. lemon juice
    3 eggs, separated
    3 Tbsp. margarine
    1 1/2 tsp. lemon extract
    2 tsp. vinegar
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cornstarch, water, beaten egg yolks, lemon juice and margarine together.
    Cook in a double boiler until thick (about 25 minutes).
    Remove from heat.
    Add lemon extract and vinegar.
    Stir thoroughly and then cool.
    Pour into crust.
    Cover with meringue and brown.
    Serves 6.
