Boiled Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 eggs
    1 qt. milk
    1 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Beat eggs and sugar together.
    Scald milk.
    Add a little milk to egg mixture at a time.
    Stir constantly over medium heat, about 15 minutes, until coats the spoon.
    Chill.
    Serve with whipped cream and dash of nutmeg.
