French Vegetable Beef Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. beef stew meat, cut in 1/2 inch cubes
1/4 c. salad oil
1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed onion soup
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. basil
1 (16 oz.) can wax beans, drained
1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, drained
8 carrots, sliced
2 c. sliced celery
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Brown meat in oil.
Reduce heat and stir in soup and 6 cans water.
Add tomato paste, salt, pepper and basil.
Simmer, covered, for 1 1/2 hours.
Add vegetables.
Reheat to boiling.
Simmer, covered, 30 minutes or until vegetables and meat are tender.
Stir in cheese.
