White Wonder Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. shortening
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. milk
    4 egg whites
    1 1/3 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cream shortening, add sugar and vanilla.
    Beat until fluffy. Sift flour, baking powder and salt.
    Add to mixture alternately with milk.
    Blend until smooth after each addition.
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Fold in batter.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
