Pumpkin Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour, mixed with 1/2 tsp. baking soda and 1/4 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. pumpkin pie spice
    3/4 c. packed dark brown sugar
    1/2 c. granulated sugar
    3/4 c. butter, softened (1 1/2 sticks)
    1 large egg
    1 c. pumpkin puree (canned or fresh, not pie filling)
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    1 c. golden raisins or regular raisins
    1/2 c. chopped Macadamia nuts or any nut will do
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 325\u00b0.
    Combine flour mixture and pumpkin pie spice.
    Using electric mixer on medium speed, mix together brown and granulated sugars.
    Beat in butter.
    Add egg, pumpkin and vanilla.
    Beat until well mixed, light and fluffy.
    Stir in flour mixture, raisins and nuts.
    Drop by round spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets 2 inches apart.
    Bake until slightly browned along edges, about 20 minutes.
    Cool cookies on flat surface.
