Blackberry Puddin' - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. flour, sifted
    1/3 c. butter
    2 c. boiling water
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. milk
    2 c. blackberries
Preparation
    Cream 1 cup sugar and butter together.
    Add the flour, baking powder, salt and milk; mix well.
    Then pour blackberries on top. Pour 1 cup sugar over and the boiling water.
    Bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0, until top is golden brown.
    Will take about 50 minutes.
