Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe

1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
3 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk
1 c. black walnuts
4 eggs
Preparation

Cream butter and sugar; add sifted dry ingredients.
Stir in vanilla and milk.
Add walnuts, then eggs.
Pour into greased and floured 3 (9-inch) cake pans.
Bake at 375\u00b0 until done.
