Lemonade - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. water
    1 1/2 c. lemon juice
    finely grated lemon peel
    8 c. cold water
    lemon slices
    mint leaves
Preparation
    Combine sugar and 1 cup water in a small saucepan.
    Over medium heat, bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat; simmer 5 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Remove from heat and cool completely.
