Sweet Potato Biscuits - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
3 c. mashed sweet potatoes
4 Tbsp. baking powder
2/3 c. shortening
3 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. salt
Preparation

Sift dry ingredients.
Cut in shortening.
Blend in sweet potatoes.
Add enough milk to make soft dough.
Knead lightly. Roll 3/4-inch thick on a lightly floured board.
Cut with 2-inch cutter.
Bake at 400\u00b0 on ungreased sheet 20 minutes or until brown.
Makes 15 biscuits.
