Artie'S Barbecue Sauce(Spoon This On Any Meat After It'S Cooked) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 c. olive oil
3 c. chopped onions
1 c. chopped bell pepper
1/2 c. chopped parsley
1 c. dry white wine
2 Tbsp. wine vinegar
1 Tbsp. garlic, minced
2 c. tomato sauce
1/4 c. honey
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
salt to taste
1 to 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. liquid smoke
hot sauce or ground cayenne pepper to taste
Preparation

Heat olive oil in large saucepan over medium heat.
Saute the onions, bell peppers and parsley until onions are clear.
Add the wine vinegar, tomato sauce, hot sauce or cayenne pepper, garlic, honey and lemon juice.
Mix well.
Cover pot.
Turn heat down to low and simmer 1 hour.
Add salt, Worcestershire sauce and liquid smoke; stir well.
Cover and simmer at least 2 more hours, stirring occasionally.
