Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 slices bread, crusts removed and cubed
    8 oz. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 doz. eggs
    4 c. milk
    1 lb. bulk sausage, fried, fat drained, crumbled and cooled
    salt and pepper (optional)
Preparation
    Toss bread cubes into a buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Beat eggs, milk, salt and pepper together.
    Pour over bread cubes. Mix cheese and sausage into the entire mixture.
    Refrigerate, covered, overnight.
    Bake 1 hour at 375\u00b0.
