Turkey Chili - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large onion, chopped
1 small green pepper, chopped fine
28 oz. can tomatoes
2 tsp. chili powder
2 turkey thighs, skinned, boned and cut into 1/2-inch cubes or 1 1/2 lb. ground turkey
1/4 c. soy sauce
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
15 1/4 oz. can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
Preparation

Saute onion and green pepper in hot oil until onion is soft; stir in turkey.
Cook until no longer pink.
Add tomatoes, soy sauce, garlic and chili powder.
Stir to combine.
Cover and simmer 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Stir in beans; simmer, uncovered, 15 minutes more.
Serve over rice if desired.
Makes 6 servings.
