Hot Caramel Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 c. light cream
1/2 tsp. vanilla extract
Preparation

Combine sugar, corn syrup, 3 tablespoons butter and 1/2 cup cream in saucepan.
Bring to boil; gradually add remaining cream and butter.
Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, just to soft ball stage.
Remove from heat; add salt and vanilla extract. Serve warm.
May be reheated.
