Pumpkin Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cooked pumpkin
    4 eggs, separated
    1 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
    1/3 c. cream
    1/4 c. butter, melted
    1 tsp. whiskey
Preparation
    Combine pumpkin, slightly beaten egg yolks and a mixture of sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon; beat 5 minutes.
    Mix cream, butter and whiskey.
    Beat egg whites until rounded peaks are formed. Fold into pumpkin mixture.
    Pour into pastry-lined 9-inch pie pan. Bake at 357\u00b0 for about 45 minutes or until a silver knife comes out clean when inserted halfway between center and edge of filling.
