Funnel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    3/4 Tbsp. baking powder
    1 egg, beaten
    2/3 c. milk (or more)
Preparation
    Sift flour, soda, salt, sugar and baking powder in separate bowl.
    Mix egg with milk; add to dry ingredients.
    (May need more milk it batter is too thick.)
    Beat until smooth.
    Hold finger over bottom of a funnel and pour in some batter.
    Remove finger and let batter drop in a spiral motion into pan filled with 1-inch hot oil (375\u00b0).
    Fry until golden brown, turning once.
    Remove from pan and drain on a paper towel.
    Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve hot.
