Mom'S Brunswick Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 whole chicken
    1 lb. fordhook limas
    2 cans corn
    1 small onion
    1 large can crushed tomatoes
    garlic to taste
    cayenne pepper to taste
    salt
    pepper
    chicken broth (if more needed)
Preparation
    Boil chicken until very tender; remove from bone and cut up or shred. Cook limas until tender with diced onion. Add chicken, limas, corn, tomatoes, garlic, cayenne, salt and pepper (do not drain limas, corn or tomatoes) to reserved broth. Add more broth if needed (canned). Simmer on medium-low about 1/2 hour. Thicken, if desired. Serve with corn bread.
