Teriyaki Microwave Chicken - cooking recipe

1 chicken
1/4 c. teriyaki sauce
1/4 c. soy sauce
1 onion
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. tarragon
1/4 tsp. onion powder
1 c. water
1 green pepper
Preparation

Combine water, soy sauce and teriyaki sauce in a deep microwavable bowl or casserole dish.
Place chicken breast side up in bowl.
Sprinkle onion, green pepper and spices over chicken. Marinate 15 minutes to 1/2 hour.
Turn chicken breast side down before placing in microwave.
Microwave on High 7 minutes per pound (average 35 minutes).
Turn breast side up halfway through cooking time.
Liquid left in bowl can be simmered for fat removal and thickened for gravy.
Serve over rice.
