Baked Chicken In Wine Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lb. chicken, cut up
    1/2 lb. butter
    2 small onions, sliced
    1/2 c. sherry
    1/2 c. tomato juice
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. ginger
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. white pepper
    1 c. water
Preparation
    Cook chicken and drain.
    Brown chicken in butter and put in baking dish.
    To the drippings in skillet add onions and saute until tender.
    Add all other ingredients and cook 1 minute.
    Pour mixture over chicken and bake at 400\u00b0 for 1/2 hour.
    Baste every 15 minutes.
