Chocolate-Cherry Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/4 c. graham cracker crumbs
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 c. butter or margarine, melted
    1 (4 oz.) pkg. Baker's German sweet chocolate
    1/4 c. water
    1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
    1 (8 oz.) container Cool Whip
    1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling
Preparation
    Combine crumbs, sugar and butter.
    Press into 9-inch square pan.
    Chill.
    Stir chocolate and water over low heat until smooth. Beat cream cheese until fluffy.
    Beat in chocolate.
    Fold in 2 cups of the Cool Whip.
    Spread over crumbs.
    Top with cherry filling. Chill and garnish with remaining topping.
    Makes 9 servings.
