Banana Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2/3 c. butter
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/4 c. mashed ripe bananas
    2/3 c. buttermilk, divided
    2 eggs
    2/3 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation
    Place butter in bowl.
    Stir in flour, sugar, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Add bananas and buttermilk.
    Mix until moistened and beat 2 minutes on medium speed.
    Add 1/3 cup buttermilk and eggs and beat 2 minutes longer.
    If desired, fold in walnuts. Bake in 2 greased and floured 9 x 9 pan at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes. Cool 10 minutes.
