Sweet And Sour Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans Blue Lake French-style green beans
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. cider vinegar
    6 slices bacon
    1 medium onion, chopped
Preparation
    Fry bacon, reserve drippings.
    Add sugar and vinegar to drippings and simmer until clear.
    Drain beans, reserve 1/2 cup liquid.
