"Taramosalata" - Fish Roe Dip Or Spread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (10 oz.) jar tamara
3 lemons
1/2 c. olive oil
1 1/2 c. salad oil
1 Tbsp. minced onion
1 Tbsp. minced parsley
3/4 to 1 loaf sliced bread
Preparation

Put tamara in cheesecloth and rinse several times in cold water.
Put the salad and olive oil in a bowl.
Cut the bread, crusts removed, into small pieces.
Beat the tarama with electric mixer, adding a tablespoon lemon juice alternately with the oil and soaked in water bread, beating well after each addition.
Continue until all lemon juice and bread are used.
Fold in onion and parsley.
If mixture is too thick, add a little cold water.
Serve on squares of bread or crackers.
