Sour Cherry Crumb Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 to 4 1/2 c. pitted sour cherries
    1/3 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
    3/4 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    pinch of salt
    1/2 c. chopped almonds
    6 Tbsp. butter, cut into small pieces
Preparation
    Mix tapioca and 1/3 cup sugar together.
    Layer cherries in 1 unbaked 9-inch pie crust, in thirds, alternating them with a sprinkling of the tapioca and sugar mixture.
