Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. margarine
    1 lb. beef cubes
    1 large onion, sliced
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. water
    1 (15 oz.) can cut green beans
    4 to 6 carrots, cut into pieces
    4 to 6 potatoes, cut into chunks
Preparation
    Melt margarine in pan on stove.
    Brown meat with onion, salt and pepper added.
    Place potatoes, green beans, carrots and water over meat.
    Cover and bake in the oven at 350\u00b0 for 1 to 1 1/2 hours until meat is tender.
    Return to stove.
    Make a paste of 2 tablespoons flour and 1/4 cup water.
    Stir into stew to thicken broth.
