Sausage Breakfast Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 slices bread
    butter
    1 lb. bulk pork sausage
    6 oz. mild Cheddar cheese, shredded
    6 eggs, well beaten
    2 c. half and half
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Remove crusts from bread; butter.
    Place in greased dish. Brown sausage.
    Crumble and drain.
    Sprinkle bread with cheese. Combine eggs, salt and pepper.
    Mix. Pour over cheese.
    Cover and chill overnight.
    Remove from refrigerator fifteen minutes before baking.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until set.
    Serves 8.
