Beef Stroganoff - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. beef chuck, cubed
    3 large onions, minced
    1 pt. sour cream
    3/4 lb. mushrooms
    1/4 c. butter
    1 pinch of salt
    paprika to taste
    fresh pepper
Preparation
    Simmer meat in water, just to cover, for 1 1/2 hours.
    Cook onions in butter until golden.
    Add meat to onions; cook until brown.
    Add mushrooms.
    Season with spices; simmer for 3 hours. Stir in sour cream over low flame, until well blended.
    Serve over wide noodles.
    Serves 4.
