Chinese Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can mixed Chinese vegetables
    1 can Frenched seasoned green beans
    2 medium onions, thin sliced rings or chopped
    4 c. sliced or diced celery
    1 can Chinese bean sprouts
    1 small can water chestnuts, sliced
    2 c. sugar
    2 c. apple cider vinegar
Preparation
    Drain water off vegetables.
    Mix sugar, water and vinegar in a large mixing bowl.
    Add all vegetables and mix thoroughly.
    Cover bowl and let set in refrigerator for at least 12 hours.
