Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. soft shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    2 3/4 c. plain flour
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. soda
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. sugar
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients well, except the cinnamon and sugar.
    Roll into balls the size of walnuts.
    Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon.
    Roll balls into mixture.
    Bake 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet until lightly brown, but soft.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
