Fresh Apple Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 tsp. cinnamon
3 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. chopped apples
1 Tbsp. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped walnuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Combine cinnamon and sugar; set aside. Cream shortening and sugar.
Add eggs.
Stir in apples, milk and vanilla.
Combine flour, baking soda and salt.
Add to creamed mixture and stir well.
Add walnuts.
Batter will be very thick. Spoon 1/3 of batter in greased loaf pan.
Sprinkle with cinnamon mixture.
Repeat 2 more times, ending with cinnamon mixture on top.
Bake 1 hour or until center is set.
Yield:
1 large loaf.
