Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. strawberries, crushed
    1 c. water
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    In saucepan, bring to boil 1 cup berries and water; simmer 2 minutes.
    Sieve berry mixture.
    Add sugar and cornstarch.
    Cook over medium heat until thick.
    Spread 1/4 cup glaze on bottom and sides of baked pie shell.
    Mix 5 cups strawberries with remaining glaze.
    Pour into greased pie shell.
    Chill 3 hours.
    Top with whipped cream.
