Southern Fried Okra Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. okra, sliced or diced
1/3 c. corn meal
1/3 c. flour
salt and pepper to taste
1 large fresh tomato
fresh onion, chopped to taste
5 to 6 Tbsp. oil
Preparation
-
Coat salted okra with corn meal and flour.
Fry in pan of oil. Cook to golden brown; remove, add chopped tomato and onion. Toss.
