Ingredients

1/4 c. margarine
1 c. flour
1 c. granulated sugar
1 Tbsp. baking powder
3/4 c. milk
3 to 4 c. fresh fruit, sliced
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1/2 to 1 tsp. cinnamon (optional)
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Melt margarine in 9 x 13-inch baking dish in preheated oven.
In a medium-sized bowl, mix flour, 1 cup granulated sugar, baking powder and milk together.
Pour over the melted margarine in the baking pan.
Place the sliced, fresh fruit on top of the batter.
Sprinkle 3/4 cup granulated sugar and optional cinnamon over the fruit.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
This is excellent served with vanilla ice cream.
