Chocolate Chipper Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. shortening
1 1/4 c. water
2 envelopes or 2 squares chocolate
3 eggs
1 c. (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. pecan halves or chopped nuts
Preparation

In large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients except chocolate chips and pecan halves.
Blend at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
Pour batter into 13 x 9-inch pan (greased on bottom only).
Sprinkle chips and nuts over batter. Bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350\u00b0 or until cake springs back in center.
Serve plain or with Cool Whip or ice cream.
