Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
    pinch of salt
    4 eggs, beaten
    milk
    2 c. cream
    2 Tbsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cornstarch and salt in a bowl.
    Add eggs.
    Beat until smooth.
    Bring 4 cups of milk to a simmer in saucepan.
    Stir a small amount of hot milk into egg mixture.
    Then stir egg mixture into hot milk.
    Cook until thickened, stirring constantly.
    Cool. Stir in cream and vanilla.
    Pour into ice cream freezer container. Add milk to fill line.
    Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions.
