Grandmother'S Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 c. chopped nuts
1 3/4 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. raisins
1 c. applesauce
1/2 c. butter
1 tsp. cinnamon

Preparation

Mix sugar and spices. Mix butter and applesauce.
Add to sugar mixture.
Mix soda and flour.
Add chopped nuts and raisins.
Mix well.
Combine all ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Bake approximately 45 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Bakes nicely in an angel food pan or may be baked in a loop pan.
