Coconut Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 eggs, separated
    1 1/2 c. milk
    5 level Tbsp. flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. coconut
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Beat egg yolks thoroughly.
    Add milk; beat again.
    Sift flour with salt and 1 cup sugar; add to egg mixture.
    Cook until thick. Add butter; let cool.
    Add vanilla and coconut.
