Popcorn Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 c popped corn
    1 c sugar
    1/3 c water
    1/3 c light corn syrup
    1 tsp salt
    1/4 c butter
    1 tsp vanilla
Preparation
    Stir 1/2 lb caramels and 2 tbsp hot water over hot water until smooth. Pour over 5 c popped corn, kix or cheerios. Mix gently until blended. Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper. Makes about 3 dozen.
