Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sliced peaches
    2 c. sugar
    1 stick margarine
    3/4 c. flour
    pinch of salt
    3/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Mix peaches with 1 cup sugar.
    Put margarine in a deep pan. Set in 350\u00b0 oven to melt.
    Stir batter of remaining sugar, flour, baking powder, salt and milk.
    Pour over melted butter.
    Do not stir.
    Place peaches on top.
    Bake for 1 hour or until crust is golden brown.
    Batter rises to the top during baking.
