Smothered Steak Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 round steak, cut into 6 pieces
    3 c. sliced potatoes
    1 can cream of mushroom soup
    flour
    3 Tbsp. fat
    2 c. sliced carrots
    1 soup can milk
    1 can biscuits
Preparation
    Season and flour steak. Brown in fat.
    Arrange in bottom of casserole. Cover with raw potatoes and carrots. Pour soup
    and milk over vegetables and meat. Cover and bake 35 minutes at 400\u00b0. Remove cover.
    Place biscuits over top.
    Return to oven and bake about 10 to 15 minutes longer.
    Makes 6 servings.
