Chicken Chow Mein - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 c. celery, sliced on a slant
    1 medium onion, cut in eighths
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. bean sprouts (fresh or canned)
    1 c. shredded cooked chicken
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    1 pkg. chow mein noodles
Preparation
    Heat oil in a wok or pan and stir-fry celery and onion over high heat for 2 to 3 minutes, separating the onion \"layers.\"
    Add soy sauce, sugar and broth; bring to a boil.
    Add bean sprouts and chicken and stir to combine.
    Dissolve cornstarch in water and add gradually to sauce.
    Simmer gently until it thickens.
    Serve over chow mein noodles.
    Serves 4.
