Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter
    4 eggs
    1 c. flour
    pinch of cinnamon
    1 c. chopped nutmeats or raisins (optional)
    4 oz. unsweetened chocolate
    2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In top of deep double boiler, put butter and chocolate; melt and blend together.
    Turn off heat and add sugar (use only 1 1/2 cups if you want a little more chocolaty brownie).
    When slightly cooled, add eggs and beat well.
    Add scant cup of unsifted flour and beat well.
    Add a bit of cinnamon, real vanilla and salt; mix well.
    Add chopped nuts or some raisins, if desired.
    Turn into greased 9 x 12-inch pan.
    For soft-type brownies, bake at 325\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    For chewy ones, bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
