Cinnamon Date Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 to 5 1/2 c. flour, divided
1 1/2 c. sugar, divided
2 pkg. Rapid Rise yeast
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
1/2 c. milk
3/4 c. butter, divided
2 eggs, room temperature
1 1/2 Tbsp. ground cinnamon
1 (8 oz.) pkg. chopped dates
1 c. powdered sugar (optional)
1 to 3 Tbsp. milk (optional)
Preparation

Combine 2 cups flour, 1/2 cup sugar, yeast and salt.
Heat water, 1/2 cup milk and 1/2 cup butter until very warm (125\u00b0 to 130\u00b0).
Stir into dry ingredients.
Mix in eggs and enough remaining flour to make a soft dough.
Knead on floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 4 to 6 minutes.
Cover.
Let rest 10 minutes.
